For a limited Farmers farmville has released underground storage known as Farmville Storage Cellars.
Storage Cellars will increase your storage space to a maximum of 500 items, it will be/is available for the farmers above level 16. You can find your Storage Cellar in you giftbox, it can also be purchased from the Farmville Market for

You need to build your Storage cellars either by buying 10 Shovels for 
5 from the Farmville Market or ask your friends to send Shovels as a free gift. The Storage Cellar works similar to other events of farmville Such as Valentines Box or Tuscan Wedding, in which you collect materials and then redeem for exclusive prizes. Each shovel will count as one Storage Space in your Storage Cellar.
If you want to save space on your Farm, you can delete your barns. The storage of Farmville work as collective storage, deleting a storage building wont effect the total number of items stored, provided your total storage capacity remains more than the items stored. Please note you can store up to maximum 500 items no matter how many storage buildings you have on your farm, so its better to remove your barns to get more space.

As soon as I got mine from my giftbox and I was going to place it somewhere in my farm, a message saying that FarmVille was enhanced and the page was refreshed!!! I lost it, and I had to buy another one from the market. Can you give it back to me. It also happened with the gold pot, and I never got to get one!! I want my pot also. Thanks in advance

I had the underground storage for about 2 minutes when it said that Farmville needed to be refreshed and when it came back it was gone! Now it is not available in my gift box any more. Any suggestions!!!????

I just wanted to say that Farmville needs to come up with some better prizes in these little add ons. Seriously, who wants a mole, rock crystal, cave gnome or antique tractor? What the heck are they thinking. I want gas, and XP and cash. Or, different trees or plants, or pools. This idea was pretty stupid of you ask me.

why do we want more than 500 shovels?? is there a bonus after 500? Seems like the space bonus ends there, but I don’t have 500 yet, so I am curious.

noonie, well we only need to collect 500 shovels to complete the storage shelter, anything after that we can trade for the prizes that aren’t even really cool. i am at 1972 shovels and i really don’t want any of the prizes, so i just trade in shovels for prizes and then sell them. i only like the sheep and the tractor. the rest is stupid. they have made farmville to where you have to pay fv cash to get anything pretty or cool and you hardly ever get fv cash for anything. i am starting to believe the rumors about zynga trying to make it to where everyone will go out and purchase those cards to get more fv cash. thanks, crystal
