Farmville Pregnant Pig
Lexilicious mentioned in a past FarmVille Podcast about the pregnant pig & piglet is now live in FarmVille. The Pregnant Pig in an adoptable animals that you find on your farm and share via FaceBook newsfeed. Each pregnant pig has a collar with one of your FarmVille neighbors name. Only this neighbor will have the opportunity to adopt the Pregnant Pig. You “return” the Pregnant Pig by posting the notice on the neihgbors farm listed on the collar.

Once adopted, if you provide a home for the Pregnant Pig and take good care of her, in 24 hours there will be a baby Piglets for you to share with your FarmVille neighbors!

Official word from FarmVille’s Community Manager, Lexilicious:
“Piglets!
When tending your farm, you now have a chance to find a sow that is expecting piglets. This little lady will belong to one of your neighbors. The neighbor she belongs to is selected at random.
If you find an expecting sow, she must be returned to her owner. You will receive a pop-up that will allow you to post to your friends wall informing them that you have found their pig.
If a Neighbor has found a pig that belongs to you, you can claim your lost pig by clicking on the applicable feed that has been posted on your wall. After being taken to your farm, you will receive a pop-up that will prompt you to place your little lady on your farm. (After all, a gift box is no place for piglets!)
After she is placed, you will see a message asking you to return in 24 hours. Upon your return, you will find that your pig gave birth to a healthy litter of piglets that you can now share with your friends!” (Source: Official FarmVille Forum)

I saw the pig in my farm. But when I clicked, in the message, instead of any of my friend’s name, there was a dot. When I click share, nothing happened and the pop up and the pig disappeared

There are many of us that don’t have iPods or iPhones. It seems that FarmVille is catering to a select few. I agree, that doesn’t seem fair. I also would like to know how to keep some of the wandering animals I find. I have not adopted or had the opertunity to adopt for about 3 months!

Hi found the pig for one of my neighbours, posted to their wall.
Found the pig my neighbour posted for me and clicked on the appropriate link but I now can’t find my pig and I have searched my farm.
Where is my pregnant pig and how will I find my piglets?

if you do not get the pop up box to send the pig.the next time you refresh your farm the pig will show back up.

you had a diagram showing what kind of foals you get with the stallion,with a mare and I can’t find it . why is it all we get is black foals and horses ? If you have a white foal it should be a white horse ,appaloosa’s , appaloosa’s, not black horses ?? why breed if all we get are the same kind. I paided for different horses to produce different foals,if i had known this I wouldn’t have bought them.

The pregnant pig is NOT just for iphone or ipod users. I don’t use either one and have had two show up on my farm. One (like some others that I’ve seen comments about) did not have a name but just a dot instead. The other had the name of one of my FB friends who does Not play FV (that I know of anyway). Regardless Zynga disabled the pig because of all of problems that were popping up with it. Anyway that is the last I knew. I haven’t read or heard anything about them re-enabling it again.

no one has found my pig i think the pigs on our farms should have been our own pigs, and the fact that all the new stuff for all of zyngas apps we have to pay real cash for is not fair to people that don’t have the real cash or even a credit card to get the real cash.

I really am enjoying all the new things coming out on farmville. However, so many of them are real cash or credit card. I have neither one. Would like to be able to purchase with coins. Any chance some of these great items can be changed?

i lost my fully grown dog that i paid the 300.000 for…. it was always on stay and one day i logged in and it ran off… thats not sopose to happen. does anyone know a way of getting her back???

I would like to know why my dog says harvest the duck. So I click it and it says theres no ducks to Harvest. He is a level 5 dog and Farmville thinks he is a duck for about a month now.

If a Neighbor has found a pig that belongs to you, but does not posted on your wall. does that neighbor keep the pregnant pig & will you ever have another chance on getting piglets?

I lost a dozen cornish hens they never came back. but what is upseting I paid farm cash for at least one of them I got one of each when they were introduced twenty some farm cash each. they were taken right out of my coop. and only the cornish. So as much as this game screws up. be glad your stuff is free. because buying FVCash and loosing your things is very upsetting. better free, you can walk away.

dyann your dog doesn’t think he’s a duck that is a trick he’s learned. if there are ducks to harvest he weill do it once per day. different dogs do different things. the retriver fetches, the sheepdog harvests sheep, etc.

SEEMS UNFAIR THAT THE PIGS ARE GOING TO PEOPLE THAT HAVE NOT PLAYED IN A WHILE AND THEREFORE ARE NOT BEING PLACED ON THEIR FARMS. AND IVE SEEN SEVERAL AND THE ONES THAT WERE SHARED YOU CAN NOT COLLECT THEM. EVEN ONES SENT TO YOU VIA GIFT. THIS ITEM IS NOT RESTRICTED TO JUST IPHONES AS ABOVE MENTIONED. I phone, No phone Fv doesnt like poor people, sorry I cannot afford your game in the way you want, but I bet I have alot more time to play than people who talk on the phone all day. It’s not fair to punch people when they are already down.
And how about giving back the things that you take away, like the 25.00 for adding the game bar,the 10.00 for the 2nd try and still no money, give me back my bees,the coins I lost for the farmhands that collected but amount earned 0.00 hey farmers need to make a living here. And the list goes on like where my mustang, I caught it had friends do there part but no show on him either
I love the game but come on lets be fair dont push anyone aside because they cant afford to keep up with the Jones as they use to say.
