Farmville has introduced an improvement to add the building parts to the constructable buildings with the name “Let’s Build”. The Let’s Build feature makes the building of constructable building a lot easier and faster. Here is the official announcement and a little guide on Let’s Build Feature.
We’re excited to announce a new way to add common parts to buildings and apply them to objects/animals like seedlings and lambs. Now you can add these items from your gift box simply by clicking on what accepts them.
Clicking through individual parts in your Gift Box is now a thing of the past!
Using the New Part Adding Method:
Open your Gift Box and select a part to use:
Your mouse cursor will now change to show the part you’ve selected, along with the amount you have in your Gift Box to use. Any building/animal/item that can accept the part will be highlighted blue, while those that cannot will remain unmarked as seen below:
Clicking on an object to accept a part changes the number of parts available on your mouse cursor to keep track of what you use easily:
To cancel the adding cursor, simply click on the Multi Tool icon in the game tool bar:
You can currently use the following items using this method from your Gift Box:
- Beeswax
- Smoker
- Blanket
- Bottle
- Harness
- Horseshoe
- Brick
- Wooden Board
- Nail
- Shovels
- Watering Can

Shovels aren’t for the barn. Shovels are for your duck pond(s) or to add storage space to your storage cellar.

i like it..its not so time consuming..only snag i had was w/my seedlings that i had out on the farm already..it doenst let u post them, but when i put new seedlings out it posts the tree’s..

When I try to expand my horse barn it tells me to ask for the items. When I used my special delivery box it gave me some things that I need for the expansion. When I try to you them the horse barn is not lit up so when I try to click to use the boards, etc. it won’t work.

I didn;t like the watering until I found how to stop using it, but it does not always give the trees so I can post them for my neighbors on facebook
Tonight there was a Giant Bubblegum tree, Giant Cocoa, Ornament. and a big carmel apple.so maybe somethimg could be done about that.
NOW !!! for a great big please, please, Try to fix the notice that comes down when we share something.The publish comes all the way to the bottom of the page to click on it. It is really agravating to have to chase it while trying to set a tree out or do aything. It has been messed up for a long time.

Right, the new “part adding method” causes DAMAGE in that I can almost never share the trees that I grow from seed. I asked some of my neighbors and they seem to not be having the problem. I’ve already lost at least 24 trees from sharing because it simply does not give me the option. I am at level 130+ and have tried everything I can think of but it still prevents my sharing seed grown trees – Unless I only have only one seed on the ground at a time (ridiculously slow and frustrating: not an improvement). Did Ginger say that she found how to turn off the “new part ading method” because that would be great!!

Makes it hard for one, if one does not know, which building needs buildung materials.
When are you going to put the beehive into the New England farm? and are we ever going to be able to use the items we have in our old cellar or the gold chunks on New England Farm?
And how can anyone achieve a goo white Stallion with no cash, but points only?

Maiken if you run your cursor over the building outlined in blue it will tell you how many of that item you already have in there.

I love the new feature and have used it several times already. I especially love using it for watering the trees as I can put a lot out at one time. Its so much faster and easier.

jan scroll up the page it tells and shows how to

when you have more watering cans then saplings and want to put the extras back in te gift box, click on the white arrow just like you do to stop planting, if you are in “placement mode” and have no room to place whatever it is, click on home and it will go in the gift box till you make room.

is there still any possibility to get horseshoes or harness for the old horse stables ( i have still old ones to expand….)
